Defrosting Instructions (Optional for Faster Reheating)

If you'd prefer a shorter oven time or a gentler reheat, follow these defrosting steps before reheating:

   In the Fridge (Recommended)

  1. Remove your traybake from the freezer.

  2. Place it in the fridge for 12–24 hours before reheating.

  3. Keep it in the foil tray with the lid on while defrosting.

  4. Once fully thawed, follow the regular reheating instructions – reduce oven time to 30–35 minutes at 170°C (fan).

  5. Check temperature – the centre should reach at least 75°C.

⚠️ Do Not Defrost at Room Temperature

  • This can cause uneven thawing and increase the risk of foodborne illness.

  • Always defrost in the fridge for safety.
